I usually listen to this podcast while I’m at work and it’s cool for the most part. Dustin Ross is funny at times but the majority of the time he’s mad corny. And don’t get me wrong, a corny joke here and there is cool but he has the tendency to unleash a BARRAGE of corny jokes through the whole episode and it gets to the point where you can tell that Asante and Fran have to fake a laugh just so they can move on. He interrupts them often and it just seems like he’s attention seeking which is off... more

I tuned in to hear modern, intelligent black voices with interesting and informed takes on mental health and friendship. Instead I was treated to ignorant banter that seemed to stoop to the lowest common denominator. I listened to a few other episodes even after the disappointing Will Smith slap take where they appeared to relish such a shameful and embarrassing display of violence, but unfortunately the other episodes weren’t any better.
