I was interested in the content, but I had to turn it off because one second I couldn’t hear and the next second he blew my eardrums out. An audio gate might help? I can tell by listening he is very very animated, but the yelling is not acceptable without a gate.

Good job Andrew. Continue uncovering the KY government corporatism and poor leadership at the state level. Especially the lack luster GOP.

  • A must listen for all Kentuckians

A great daily podcast that touches on issues that matter to Kentucky and which the MSM, otherwise known as the publicity department for the liberals, avoids. Also like that while Andrew is conservative he is not blindly a Republican and will call out those claiming to be on the side of conservatism but in actuality are not. Do make sure to tune in daily.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Illegal Immigrant DL Scandal, Mitch McConnell, The Future Of Same-Sex Marriage W/Mike Harmon
Q: Would you prefer government to stay out of issuing marriage licenses entirely, or should it remain involved, and why?
The government's involvement historically centers on protecting children and preventing improper unions; the broader argument is that government should limit its role while acknowledging some ongoing civil/legal structures around marriage.
The Illegal Immigrant DL Scandal, Mitch McConnell, The Future Of Same-Sex Marriage W/Mike Harmon
Q: How do you define what counts as a political attack and what crosses the line into personal?
If you or your surrogates attack first, I respond; otherwise I prefer focusing on policy and voting records, but I won't refrain from countering when attacked, especially if the surrogates misrepresent me.
$52,000 a window! Lee Watts joins the show to discuss Kentucky's massive remodel
Q: Did the Capitol renovation need this level of spending or the temporary structure?
The guest argues it did need some renovation due to leaks and old HVAC, but questions the $291.5 million price tag and the $18 million temporary building, suggesting more cost-effective approaches and better use of state resources.
What is the Democrat plan to win over male voters? According to Beshear, talk more about abortion.
Q: Is there a straightforward tactic to attract masculine voters without compromising beliefs?
The discussion suggests that pandering or over-simplified messaging won't work; instead, connect policies to tangible outcomes like employment, housing, and family stability, while discussing abortion in terms of broader family and economic impacts rather than purely moral arguments.
What is the Democrat plan to win over male voters? According to Beshear, talk more about abortion.
Q: What do you think Democrats should do to reach back out to young white men?
The guest argues there is no simple solution, suggesting Democrats must acknowledge structural issues affecting young men, frame issues from a male perspective, and avoid framing reproductive rights as solely about women. He emphasizes authentic communication and understanding deeper economic and social concerns before proposing concrete policy messaging.
