Interim General Assembly meetings have begun and the gas tax is a hot topic. KPW brings you up to speed on why you should care. Also, a one-two punch of George Santos and Hunter Biden news? What more could you want?
Kentucky is gearing up for the beginning of the interim General Assembly session but, in the meantime, we've got Randall Weddle news, a rocket ship explosion, a faulty casket, and a possible baseball strike.
The Kentucky Primary is over and we have a full breakdown of the results and what it means for the Commonwealth. Also, a new KY Gov poll, the crew tries to tamp down some conspiracy theories, and Tres is very excited for a special vote in October.
Early voting has begun in the Commonwealth and KPW has a look at the races you should be watching on Primary Night, including a few races that have gotten wild towards the end.

Silly drivel from uninformed host who are blissfully unaware of their own propaganda bubble. Many european countries banded fluoride (an IQ lowering neurotoxin) in their water decades ago. Stop geoengineering /weather modification bills are popping up in many states due to increased aerial spraying and increased public awareness. The general public is not in favor of toxic dimmed skies and has never given consent. Halting it nationally starts at the state level.
The only thing I would change is to add a robot with a microphone that follows Abby and Jared around so they are more audible. And more F1 updates.
Edit: also whenever left a 1 star review with no comment is clearly the anonymous Twitter troll that Tres referenced.
The only thing the show is missing is the unpredictability of a live audience.
This podcast is great no matter which party you belong to. My only critique would be that the name is “Kentucky Politics Weekly”, and we are lucky to get an episode per month.
I enjoy listening to this podcast because I am a moderate conservative and new to Kentucky. I like to listen in the morning, but the pod cast is REALLY LONG! If the episodes were even 30 minutes long, I would listen more.
