Though often only seen as a failed one-term president and the son of a Founding Father, Adams spent his final decades in Congress fighting the slavocracy and forming a bridge between the founding of America and the era of Lincoln. • Kennedy a hero?

Love the podcast. But the episode about JFK as a hero, I feel the guest was either very nervous or didn’t even read the JFK Wikipedia page. Didn’t come across as knowledgeable . Kept repeating “how dark it was”. Maybe describe it in another way? Really had a limited

understanding about WW2 and the combat ships.

  • Phenomenal podcast

I’ve long been an admirer of John Adams and have considered myself an armchair expert on his life and family, but I learned so much about John Quincy in this podcast that I’d never known or hadn’t known the full story. I’ve always held him in esteem but this podcast made me realize just how extraordinary he was. Flawed and complex, but incredible to his last breath. Not exaggerating when I say that this is one of the best-made podcasts I’ve ever listened to.
