  • Outstanding Episcopal podcast

I read the lectionary during the week, so Friday is the perfect time for me to hear a reflection based on the readings. There is so much I like about the show, but in general, it's one of the activities in my week that I don't need a reminder to do. Melissa and Bp. Rob have a great chemistry. Bp. Rob has a special blend of theology and real world application that appeals to me. Melissa has an enquiring mind and does an excellent job of eliciting helpful comments from the Bp.

  • Christian Nationalism

Thank you for this series! So many Episcopal churches (including mine) refuse to acknowledge this issue. I commend to you, Eliza Griswold’s newest book. Diana Butler Bass held an intriguing interview with her as part of her Substack, The Cottage, this week.

  • This political moment

Thanks so much for shedding light on the Christian Nationalist movement infecting our body politic. Both episodes so far have made where we stand as Christians very clear. I am going to share with my friends on our Commission for Racial Reconciliation in the Diocese of Tennessee.
