It is so so good to hear your voice. Amazing podcast and I’m excited to add it to my morning routine!
I read the lectionary during the week, so Friday is the perfect time for me to hear a reflection based on the readings. There is so much I like about the show, but in general, it's one of the activities in my week that I don't need a reminder to do. Melissa and Bp. Rob have a great chemistry. Bp. Rob has a special blend of theology and real world application that appeals to me. Melissa has an enquiring mind and does an excellent job of eliciting helpful comments from the Bp.
Wonderful, uplifting, and personally inspirational to me. Thank you !
Thank you for this series! So many Episcopal churches (including mine) refuse to acknowledge this issue. I commend to you, Eliza Griswold’s newest book. Diana Butler Bass held an intriguing interview with her as part of her Substack, The Cottage, this week.
Thanks so much for shedding light on the Christian Nationalist movement infecting our body politic. Both episodes so far have made where we stand as Christians very clear. I am going to share with my friends on our Commission for Racial Reconciliation in the Diocese of Tennessee.

Guests range from public officials to chaplains and faith leaders, with a strong emphasis on practical spirituality, moral reflection, and inclusive community building. A standout throughline is making faith relevant to contemporary life—whether addressing voting rights, incarceration, military chaplaincy, or caring for the vulnerable—while maintaining accessible, conversational storytelling that invites listeners into ... more
