Solid story and good performances from everyone involved. I have listened to this podcast through all the seasons and have always enjoyed myself, even as the cast and crew came and went and, often as not, returned later on. I cannot recommend this podcast highly enough. Just remember to start with the first episode in the first season instead of trying to pull a Fox and air the episodes out of chronological order. ;)
I am actively trying to remove this podcast from my library. If you enjoyed being left out of joke, or not invited to party that everyone else you know received an invitation to, this podcast might be for you. It literally sucks the life out of Firefly!
Firefly Podcast: Balls and Bayonets Brigade is one of the best RPG AP's out there. It has everything a good AP should have. Superb audio quality. A great party of talented PC's. a GM who keeps the drama and intrigue up! I look forward to each and every episode. Now, with the start of season 5, is a good time to come aboard and ride along with the crew. For those of us who have been listening for awhile, I enjoy that characters from previous seasons, like Oliver, are showing up. This pod ... more
This is a very fun podcast to listen to and it is a very different system than a lot of others out there. The crew seem to have a great time playing and if you're looking for some laughs and some really cool story look no further!
Firefly Podcast keeps me company daily as I cook dinner. It gets turned up really loud so I can hear the antics over the extractor fan and boy what antics they are. You think the heroes can't do anything dumber and then they do and I (hopefully like many other listeners) take great pleasure in wondering just WTF they might do next. Of course the episodes sound even better when you don't have to stop them every 30min because dinner is finished! Don't be an idiot, subscribe!
Best podcast on this side of the verse! If you saw Firefly and Serenity and are feeling orphan from the show, this podcast is sure to make you feel a lot better. They make Serenity's sacrifice worth it and sure are making Mal and his crew proud! Take your brown coat and pistol, keep flying and stay shinny!
Very good Firefly RPG Podcast.
Just started the second season after binging through the first! Superb story, especially now that the cast has mostly settled in! Aser does a great job as the GM, Megan is superb as the comic relief, and Phil, Alex, and Rob round out the cast with superior role playing and great grasp of the story! Keep trying to name those spaceships you seem to lose every few episodes!
