If you want to here ironic racist accents, and Marek recounting weird racially charged anecdotes about black teenagers on his commute than go wild I guess
This is my favourite podcast, David and Marek are really funny and usually spot on in their reviews about films. Each podcast is usually a review of a recent release and an older film covering a wide range worth listening to for any film fan. Keep watching the films!
David, Buddy and Marek ease you through a fantastic podcast with their film knowledge and wit. Has improved greatly with the letters section not being read in stupid voices and could benefit from having some guest friends along for the ride but a joy all the same.
Oh this is good, this is better than Back to the Future 2 and 3
I'm a fan of Marek Larwood and that is what bought me to this gem of a podcast. It has now become a staple of my listening week. Highly recommend :)
It's not a review show but their opinions and conversations certainly do provide good insight into what the films they're talking about are like.
It's strengths come from the humour, it's almost always funny, the variety of films chosen, not all at the cinema often they single out those that are more freely available on streaming services, and the honesty, they never seem to just agree that the hyped film must be good because everyone seems to say so.
I think the most revealing thing I can say... more
Having Listened to David, Marek, Buddy and all of their guests since their Absolute days. They must be addictive listening, five plus years and still haven't found a reason to "unsubscribe". Oh, and try and give them a small, or large donation to help to keep them doing what they so obviously have a passion for. K.W.T.F.
I've been listening to this podcast for years and have really enjoyed it, I'm only just now getting around to leaving a review. Very entertaining and good film reviews.
My favourite film podcast, it blows the others out of the water! Insightful and funny.
Witty, warm and entertaining film reviews.
Fun and informative.
Two no-nonsense blokes talking total nonsense about films. It should not work, but it is funny, addictive and unexpectedly informative. The format of reviewing one current film and one older 'classic' throws up so many unusual choices that your must watch list will become endless. A proper podcast gem, David and Marek deserve to be in everyone's ears!!
One of only three podcasts that I absolutley have to listen to every episode of
I've been an avid listener to these guys since they were on Absolute Radio. I like it. Perhaps you will too.
Love the letters section jingle.
