Biggest issue is the ads placed in the most random spots throughout the podcast. Why ads are even in it when I can fast forward is beyond me. Plus the podcast is uploaded or not very inconsistently.

Hey Bob, what’s your deal with the Mets, did some of the players run a train on your wife or something? Does she have a crush on some of the players?

You guys couldn’t be more wrong on uncrustables, they’re absolutely delicious. I mean they peanut butter and jelly for gods sake, unless you guys just don’t like peanut butter and jelly?

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 4: Start Bench Cut, Ian Eagle Joins the Show
Q: Ian, with the Cinderella stories fading, do you think the NCAA tournament still offers compelling narratives beyond big-name programs?
Yes. The tournament now emphasizes multiple top programs and a broader set of standout freshmen who could make a big impact, making the storylines richer and more diversified than in years past.
Hour 4: ESPN's Tim Kurkjian, Bobby Witt Jersey Sales, Myles Garret Conspiracy
Q: What is the biggest move the Royals have on their roster this year for 2026 that maybe they didn't have last year in 2025?
Tim Kurkjian identifies Jonathan India as a major plus for the full season and notes Jack Hagnone (sp?) as important, but suggests the improvement may come from within the existing roster rather than one flashy new acquisition.
Full Show: Vinnie "The Ally" Pasquantino, Kenneth Walker Projections, Vinnie or Bobby Witt for Next Captain, Ben Maller, UMKC Coach Mark Turgeon
Q: What is the impact of Pasquantino's World Baseball Classic performance on the Royals' season outlook?
It elevates Pasquantino as a central leader and creates national buzz for the Royals, potentially attracting fans and players, while signaling the team's ability to perform on big stages.
Full Show: Justin Fields Pros and Cons, Darryn Peterson Pressure, Tough Tuesdays, Rob Dauster, Matt McMullen Chiefs Talk
Q: What is the potential role of Justin Fields with the Kansas City Chiefs beyond backup quarterback duties?
The hosts suggest Fields could serve as a dynamic gadget player, offering plays that exploit his speed, running ability, and throwing touch in designed packages, potentially expanding the offense and relieving pressure on Mahomes in specific situations.
Hour 3: March Dropness, WBC Championship Tonight, Matt McMullen Talks Chiefs, Darius Acuff Is a Star
Q: Oop, you think there's another move before the draft, or are you sticking with the current plan?
We discussed that with nine draft picks, there's flexibility to address edge rush, secondary, and other needs, so a calculated move could happen, but there's also value in waiting for the right fit.
