I have been waiting to leave the 5 star review until I had the dumbest idea possible and needed to get the idea to you.

Matt and Tucker help make the boring mornings at work on Monday and Friday. I really enjoyed the flash podcast roasting the Bills after they lost. Show idea or topic maybe before the season starts. Coaching hot seats whether they are on a blazing, warm, cool or cold seat and whether the coach will get fired before the season ends. Keep up the great work and That Football Show will always be better than the lab.

Been meaning to do this for years. Tucker is a bulldog on the network with as much work as he does and Matt has grown on me. Both have good opinions.

Only “beef” I have is Matt blocks too quick on Twitter. I still demand to know - last year I get not wanting to draft Simmons due to the risk, but how in the same breath could you argue that chiefs should sign oft injured 31 year old Ronnie Stanley to a market setting deal?!?

Anyways, if you like ESPN first take - you won’t like these guys and yo... more

  • That Football Show

I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect much when I first started listening. There are a million sports podcasts out there, and I figured this would just be another one in the rotation. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Matt and Tucker have incredible chemistry and play off each other perfectly. They cover the Chiefs, the NFL as a whole, and sometimes veer off into life topics, which somehow ends up being just as entertaining. What really sets the show apart is the humor—there are so many moments that c... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Only Weird Games 7/28: Chiefs Get Tough D-Line News Before Full Training Camp Begins
Q: How much does training camp matter for this Chiefs team?
The panel agreed it matters a lot to see how quickly players adapt to the system, the offense's pocket dynamics, and how the rookie defensive linemen perform; the sooner they prove themselves can influence roster decisions.
Only Weird Games 7/2: What's Going on With the Chiefs' Right Tackle Battle for 2026?
Q: Why is Jalen Moore the focal point of the right tackle discussion?
Because he is the only one-year solution under contract at the position as things stand, making him the most deliberated option in a discussion about the Chiefs' long-term plan at right tackle.
21 Questions 5/30: Are You Worried About Harrison Butker?
Q: What Chiefs player were you irrationally confident would be good that wasn't?
Josh Brisco and the co-host discuss several players they overestimated, with a focus on former picks like Jamal Charles and Dexter McCluster as standout examples of fandom over projection, while acknowledging how injuries and context altered outcomes.
21 Questions 5/30: Are You Worried About Harrison Butker?
Q: What would have to happen this year for you to be comfortable with a Rashid Rice second contract in Kansas City?
It would require Rice to establish himself as the definitive number one receiver, stay healthy for 17 games, and show the leadership and production necessary to justify a Tyreek Hill-like deal, though the specifics would likely involve a structure with incentives and protections given past off-field concerns.
21 Questions 5/22: Do the Chiefs Need to Sign a Veteran WR Now?
Q: Who would be the top veteran WR options if they were to add one?
Possible names are debated, including Debo Samuel and Tyreek Hill, but the consensus is that any move would depend on fit, contract, and how quickly a veteran could contribute without derailing the growth of younger receivers.
