  • That Football Show

I love everything KCSN puts out. Y’all somehow manage to keep me entertained year-round, even during the parts of the offseason when absolutely nothing is happening.

My favorite show has to be That Football Show for having the courage to take on Big Toilet and the porcelain-industrial complex.

Loved Tucker’s review of the 2023 season and just how absolutely ridiculous everything about that SB run was.

Question for the crew: What single play do y’all think best encapsulates that 2023 Chiefs t... more

I came here a few years ago via Time’s Ours (now Only Weird Games) But in the process I discovered a bunch of other great shows and content! I particularly enjoy the recurring 21 questions, as well as the extended conversations with various Chiefs legends. But it’s all great!

Been a listener since the early Time’s Ours days, and this show used to be my first (and sometimes only) Chiefs pod. I’ve been moving away from it, and I just wanted to share my reasons in case the guys ever read these. I have appreciated this show over the years. Maybe Nate’s ESPN role has made him more hesitant to share information, but there’s very little true news delivered on this show anymore. Rather than sharing insight or adding context or color to the news he shares on ESPN, Nate ramble... more

Matt and Tucker help make the boring mornings at work on Monday and Friday. I really enjoyed the flash podcast roasting the Bills after they lost. Show idea or topic maybe before the season starts. Coaching hot seats whether they are on a blazing, warm, cool or cold seat and whether the coach will get fired before the season ends. Keep up the great work and That Football Show will always be better than the lab.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

21 Questions 8/8: Which Wide Receiver Should The Chiefs Potentially Trade For?
Q: If the Chiefs missed the playoffs, would Andy Reid retire after the 2026 season?
They view the retirement as unlikely with a very high chance of him staying (roughly 90-95% unlikely to retire immediately), though a hot seat could complicate decisions if miss-and-continue patterns persist.
21 Questions 8/8: Which Wide Receiver Should The Chiefs Potentially Trade For?
Q: Of Brian Thomas Jr., Jordan Addison, Jerry Judy, Kaishan Bhutti, Marvin Harrison Jr., which would you be most interested in trading for?
The consensus is that Brian Thomas Jr. is the most intriguing option due to fit and potential cost, with Marvin Harrison Jr. being a high-risk/high-reward target and Jerry Judy noted for inconsistency.
21 Questions 8/8: Which Wide Receiver Should The Chiefs Potentially Trade For?
Q: Over or under 12 games started this year from Kenneth Walker?
The hosts lean towards the over, citing a plan to manage workload with Emmett Johnson and Amari DiMarcato, while keeping Kenneth Walker fresher for the playoffs; they expect 14-15 games rather than a strict 12.
Only Weird Games 7/28: Chiefs Get Tough D-Line News Before Full Training Camp Begins
Q: How much does training camp matter for this Chiefs team?
The panel agreed it matters a lot to see how quickly players adapt to the system, the offense's pocket dynamics, and how the rookie defensive linemen perform; the sooner they prove themselves can influence roster decisions.
Only Weird Games 7/2: What's Going on With the Chiefs' Right Tackle Battle for 2026?
Q: Why is Jalen Moore the focal point of the right tackle discussion?
Because he is the only one-year solution under contract at the position as things stand, making him the most deliberated option in a discussion about the Chiefs' long-term plan at right tackle.
