  • Constant Verbal Tics

    Some journalists need to stick to print media if they aren’t inclined to put in the time to become better speakers. Matt seems like a good guy and he is great on content but he says “I mean” and “you know” constantly. Very distracting and amateurish. And he hasn’t improved over time. Years ago Matt would end almost every sentence with “and everything like that.” This stuff is fixable if he wants to improve!

  • Starting to feel a little weird

    I’ve been listening to the pod since it’s earliest days. I remember Christa Dubill was still with KSHB. At the time, it felt like the most approachable Chiefs pod I had come across. But there are so many others now and the Chiefs are a national football topic on a daily basis. So I have a lot of avenues for Chiefs content these days. I’m not sure how much longer 4th and 1 will stay in my rotation. Todd can be overly goofy for sure but he seems to “get” the host role. I worry about my guy Nick th... more
