These guys transport me back to UNY. I was Team Ben all the way and knew that douche Noel was never good enough for Felicity. Heather and Dr. Jo are fantastic hosts and Melissa has the voice of an angel. Each episode is enthralling and I always find myself hungry for more “FWH”
You’re a fool if you don’t give them a listen.
I’d give 5 billion stars if I could.
I greatly enjoyed the first season of this show. The analysis was thoughtful and nuanced and the episodes were fun to listen to. This season, however is pretty terrible. The hosts are constantly grumbling about how stupid the writing is and over analyzing every detail. The mild disagreements among the hosts have digressed into protracted arguments about silly minutiae. The hosts’ resentment for having started this project is very apparent as they start many episodes complaining about how they a... more
I really want to like this podcast. The recapping is good enough, but for hosts who claim to be “super fans” of the show, their commentary often sounds like they’re annoyed by the characters (especially the title character!) or like they’re judging people on a reality show. Their observations miss the mark on the larger story most of the time.
I love that this podcast has a separate episode that matches each tv episode. It is 1 of my favorite tv shows + this is the best podcast I’ve found for the show. The hosts are good + know the show + they all contribute. Dr. Jo is a little too serious though and trying to get too deep into the meaning of certain scenes. It obviously had to be written in a way to advance the story. Heather does an excellent job with the recaps. Would recommend!
My beef with this podcast is that I found it before all of the Felicity episodes had been recapped. I have a lengthy commute each work day, and I love listening to this podcast. Waiting for the next release each week is hard, but only because I enjoy the pod so much!
