Love the show but all the guys you talk about as must pick up were either drafted, Smith, Vientos and Rumfield or they were picked up a week ago, House. Maybe too many 8 and 10 team leagues out there driving down the ownership percentage. Also, agree with Joe that yellow mustard, yuck!

I love listening to Joey P, Ghe Welsh, Joe Orricho, Bogman, The Penguin, and the rest of the crew. Leading off on Twitch is my daily Lunch ritual. I have won my home league 3 years in a row and if I am being honest with myself the crew keeping me updated daily on all the comings and going’s of the MLB with a 60+ hour a week job and 4 kids I have no time to do research. They do it all for you, you just have to sort through it and make some decisions. I also subscribe to their Application Services... more

I wish this year we heard more advice from Joe. His pitcher advice has won me my league a few times now and this year I notice he isn’t giving us “his guys” on any of the ultimate guides.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Surprise Breakout SPs with Nick Pollack (Ep. 1240)
Q: Where do you fall on Cade Cavalli?
Cavalli is promising with a plus curve and an improving mix, but his fastball remains inconsistent and his recent put-away spike looks unsustainable, so he should be rostered with caution and monitored for long-term adjustments.
Breakout or Mirage? | Which Early Season Hot Starts To Believe In with Justin Mason (Ep. 1200)
Q: Is Soroka worth a pickup in shallow leagues right now?
Yes for the short term, but with a note to not overcommit financially or expect a long streak given his injury history; monitor health and workload and be ready to pivot.
High Stakes League ADP Risers | NFBC vs. Yahoo Targets with Erik Halterman (Ep. 1188)
Q: Would you pay Zack Wheeler's current price given his injuries and the upside if he returns healthy?
Yes, if the price dips toward 100-120 in some formats; the discount could justify taking him early in the season, especially if velocity and health data trend positively.
Which Projections to Trust + Spring Training ADP Risers with Steve Gardner (Ep. 1183)
Q: What are your thoughts on Fernando Tatis this year and his outlook given the injuries and PED-related speculation?
There is tremendous talent, but the injuries and past shoulder surgeries add downside risk; an aggressive approach could pay off if you land him in the right slot, but he shouldn't be counted on as a first-round anchor given the potential downsides.
Breakout Hitters with Frank Stampfl | Best of the Fest (Ep. 1177)
Q: Between Caglianone and Sal Stewart, which one would you prioritise if you could only draft one this year?
Sal Stewart for me due to the positional scarcity and overall upside, though I'd still try to pair both if possible since they're close in ECR and ADP and both offer significant potential.
