  • Zzzz. Give these hosts caffeine

Low energy. Slow paced. Good info that is often used. Hosts or guests often have annoying echo.

Usually a good pod, but just can't stomach any show with Nick Pollack on.

  • Not Good Anymore

Erickson is incredibly annoying with his lame fantasy baseball nerd circle jokes. Learn to pronounce players’ names correctly, please. In what English language usage is “Marsee” pronounced “Mar-SAY” like he’s a French soccer team? Saying “SCARF” isn’t funny every time you do it. Just go away, let Link or Anderson host the show.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Updated Top 400 Prospect Rankings
Q: Is this a particularly strong new crop of guys or is it because of so many prospect graduations? What are the two big factors behind the craziness of this update?
Two main drivers: lots of graduates from the top of the rankings creating a brand-new top portion of the list, and a very deep, potentially top-heavy incoming class, especially in the 2025 prep hitter and college pitching groups. This combination leads to a chaotic reshuffling and a lot of movement at the top.
Updated Pitcher Rankings with Paul Sporer
Q: Paul, how's it going? Are you off to a good start this fantasy season, or have you moved on to other things?
Paul responds that he's doing well, enjoying the discussion, and that he's keeping a close eye on the three hyped youngsters while balancing the rest-of-season updates with injury analyses and veteran performances.
Fast Starters & FAAB Recap
Q: What do you think about Noah Schultz's call-up and two-start potential this week?
Schultz is viewed as a high-upside call-up with two starts, potentially boosting his value if he looks sharp, but there's risk due to limited track record and workload from the minors; if he performs well in both starts the price could spike.
Fast Starters & FAAB Recap
Q: What schedules do you like this week for streaming hitters?
The guest suggests focusing on teams with favorable seven-game weeks, highlighting Houston, the Giants, and Cleveland as good targets due to strong lineups and favorable rotations, while also noting the Rays' road schedule as a potential up-value stream.
Spring Storylines and WBC Standouts with Sara Sanchez
Q: Are you willing to pay Acuña's price given the knee history and WBC performance?
Sara indicates she was nervous at first but ended up drafting Acuña where she felt comfortable, citing elite baserunning and overall production that justifies taking him, especially in formats that reward stolen bases and run production.
