Comparing Elly’s rate of SB attempts to Rickey Henderson’s rate weirdly ignores the new rules Ely plays under. If the bases were bigger, the pitcher was controlled by a clock, and the pitcher could only throw to first base twice, don’t you think Rickey would’ve run a WHOLE LOT more? Terrible comparison.
Lots of great content here; Erikson, Zinkie and James Anderson are consistently engaging and provide perspectives and data that make me a stronger fantasy baseball player. However Clay Link and Todd Zola are podcast valium and need to be put out to pasture asap.
Always worth a listen. Thanks!
