  • Good info, bad production

These guys know a lot about baseball, but they don’t know anything about producing a podcast. The volume balance between the guys speaking is terrible. I have to turn the volume all the way down when the host is speaking and I have to turn it all the way up when is guest is speaking. Come on guys get it together.

  • Not Good Anymore

Erickson is incredibly annoying with his lame fantasy baseball nerd circle jokes. Learn to pronounce players’ names correctly, please. In what English language usage is “Marsee” pronounced “Mar-SAY” like he’s a French soccer team? Saying “SCARF” isn’t funny every time you do it. Just go away, let Link or Anderson host the show.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What Makes a Bust with Dave McDonald
Q: Should Aaron Judge have been considered a higher-risk pick given age and injury history?
Judge was viewed as a risk due to age and a known injury track record, but his durability in recent seasons tempered some concerns; ultimately, the combination of missed time and declining plate appearances pushed him into a higher-risk category and into bust territory for this season.
What Makes a Bust with Dave McDonald
Q: Were there signs that Gunnar Henderson might be a bust headed into draft season?
Not strongly; Henderson had shown power and speed upside and was only 25, but concerns centered on power production decline and performance versus lefties, which combined with his age and durable profile made him a risk that some managers anticipated but many did not fully price in.
Brewers Prospects + Trade Deadline w/ Spencer Michaelis
Q: What's your take on how the Brewers handled the deadline overall including the pitching and position-player assets?
Overall solid, not extremely exciting, with notable adds like Senzatella and a defense of why the Brewers didn't land a big bat; they still preserved depth and upside while managing risk.
Brewers Prospects + Trade Deadline w/ Spencer Michaelis
Q: What was your reaction to the trade after hearing the return?
Initial reaction was positive about adding May and Romero, but excitement tempered once the actual return was known, recognizing the move as potentially high upside despite concerns about the pieces sent away.
Max Clark FAAB Week / Trade Reactions
Q: What is your assessment of Max Clark's immediate impact for fantasy leagues?
Clark appears to have secured everyday center-field duties with strong plate discipline and baserunning, making him a high-priority FAAB target for the rest of the season.
