I’m an amateur genealogist and family historian, like so many others. I have learned so much from this podcast since I started listening several years ago, and it has really helped me grow as a genealogist and stay on top of current happenings in the the genealogy community. I would recommend this to anyone looking to know more about how to get started on their own family tree or to learn more about how to do family history. It’s also an engaging and fun show! I really look forward to this every week!! And have listened to all of the episodes So many interesting stories, and guests. Fast moving and packed with great ideas !! Passionate and knowledgeable about Family History. Good clear sound. Great radio format and voices! Thanks guys !!
I've listend to this podcast with host Scott Fisher for several years and always learn something new to help me in my genealogy research. Covers all the bases. Professionally done with a planned segmented format each week and just the right length to enjoy on a nice walk. Transcribed also which is helpful. It's not just great, it is the best!
This is the only genealogy podcast I listen to regularly, and I have tried many. The magazine format moves along without dragging, the features are interesting, and I pick up little bits to try out later. David Allen Lambert adds a conversational tone to the start of each episode, and featured guests are knowledgeable.
It’s a great show and a great way to stay caught up with the world of family history and genealogy. I’ve been doing genealogy for 45 years, and I always learn something new. I never miss an episode. Great for experts and beginners alike.
