An incredible look into the culture that fuels this game. A great listen even if you don’t play.
As someone who’s considered jumping in and playing Eve but hasn’t due to time constraints, this was a great way for me to hear about some of the incredible stories happening within the Eve Online universe! I’d have this on while doing hw or playing some of my other games and the narrator’s really good at weaving an immersive story which leaves you wanting more!
This game has always blown my mind when it comes to the level of commitment from the players, but it’s always been a game I know I’ll never play, so this series is a great way to hear about some of these awesome conflicts in EVE Online. I just wish there were more episodes, because there have been some more recent battles that could definitely benefit from this treatment. Great job.
I bought and enjoyed the Empires of Eve book and enjoyed it but this is podcast is even better than that. If you are interested Eve history specifically or video game history generally and enjoy the format of podcasts like Dan Carlin's Hardcore History or Mike Duncan's History of Rome then this podcast is right up your alley!
