  • I love the discussions and resulting questions relating to language

Phil has thread running through the podcasts where he asks great questions and engages in deeper debate around language which really appeals. I love the conversational way this podcast works and goes beyond brief headlines on a topic. It allows me to ask questions myself and hold a mirror to my own language. There is a richness in these podcasts that deserve space and time for a second and third listen.

  • Caring too much?

I downloaded itunes (which I use very little these days) onto my laptop especially for this podcast. My full review of the episode on vulnerability, leadership and identity is on Phil's LinkedIn. Emotion at Work is one of those podcasts where, in every single episode, I come away with something to think about. Whether that's how I interact with others, or how people interact with each other, host Phil has a way of holding up a lens so that everyday situations are seen from a completely new point of view.

  • A deep dive into the human condition at work

My favourite podcasts are those involving people who are passionate about what they do sharing their insights on a topic I find relevant and interesting – Emotion at Work is one of those podcasts. Covering subjects like authenticity, purpose and workplace rituals that get in the way of genuine conversation, Emotion at Work is for anyone interested in creating a better, more human workplace. Great guests, an engaging host and subject matter that's more important than ever.
