I am sharing this with pleasure
New Orleans is my favorite city and this was such a treat. I felt like I was there. Scott’s writing is something extra special.
This podcast will make you want to read, travel, and perhaps drink a bit. Incredibly well researched. Especially enjoyed Lost in Lorca’s Spain as it helped me understand some of the complexities of Spanish history and transported me back to the streets and tapas bars of Granada and Seville. Listen to lots of podcasts and this is one of the best. Triggers your imagination to transport you around the world and you can’t ask for more than that from a podcast.
I've listened to the three available episodes and I'm looking forward to future episodes. Anderson's approach to looking at writers and literature in the context of local history and local drinks is as wonderful as it is inventive. Very well done!
Please excuse my earlier two-star rating. It was an unexplained mistake. Since that time I’ve listened to the rest of the season and it doesn’t disappoint. It is certainly worth your time.
