  • I needed to hear this message. First, I'm also a very light drinker, but unlike Gretchen, I take life way too seriously and don't always know how to find joy in everyday life. My husband likes to joke that I have way too many buttons and people have a lot of fingers, so I'm always annoyed. I needed this wake-up call. It starts today. Thank you Gretchen!

  • New Listener

I would consider myself very picky about which podcasts I can listen to. That being said- I LOVE this podcast. I follow Gretchen on IG and finally started listening to the podcast. She gives such great life advice. Something about her advice really grounds you when you may be mad or confused and it reminds you of who you are and how to live like you’d preach.

I like the rambles, I like the tangents, I just like the raw honesty.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ask G Q&A: Married But Tempted, Outgrowing People & Why Your Friend Hates Your Success.
Q: What should I do about a friend who ignores my public successes but supports me privately, and how do I handle feeling undervalued when promoting a business on social media?
Have an honest conversation with your friend about how public support matters to you and how their behavior affects your motivation and perception of the friendship. If nothing changes, recognize that some close relationships may struggle as you outgrow them, and consider whether the friendship still serves you; you deserve to celebrate your wins publicly and to be supported by those close to you.
Ask G Q&A: Married But Tempted, Outgrowing People & Why Your Friend Hates Your Success.
Q: Give me what I need, but say less. Okay, some of y'all have given too much. Blah, blah, blah. I'm married and I would never cheat, but there's someone in my life who is a coworker that I have insane chemistry with. Should I act on it or distance myself?
Distance yourself to protect your marriage unless you're ready to be honest about it; if the attraction continues, have a blunt, respectful conversation with the coworker and your partner, and consider whether you want to stay in or end the marriage. If you choose to stay, set clear boundaries and be prepared for the possibility that the situation may derail the relationship.
