  • Original Daddy Gang

I’ve tried and tried to like both this and S*fia with an *, but the days of laughing out loud and gluckgluck 3000s are over and done—both pods honestly suck, Alex just has more money for better guests and maybe a slightly higher IQ. This is just a girl who got lucky with the OG call her daddy multi-millionaire dollar deal- which she stepped on top of S*fia to get—and now has a man running her empire while she sits on her couch eating hot Cheetos (or so says VF). Otherwise she’d be married to a s... more

  • Someone in a bad marriage shouldn’t give relationship advice

Alex’s interview skills aren’t great. She jumps to conclusions or sucks up to celebrities.

She loves to lecture listeners on relationships but has no qualifications. And how can anyone listen to relationship advice from Alex when it’s become clear she’s married to a man with raging anger issues. There is also clearly a power imbalance as he is a decade older than her and controls her business. This is not a marriage any woman should aspire to so Alex is on some delusional high horse painting h... more

It’s really gone downhill. I do wish Alex the best with her pregnancy and appreciate what she tried to do with this podcast but it got lost along the way.

  • Room for improvement

I like listening to this podcast because of the guests. That’s the reason I keep coming back to listen. But Alex Cooper lacks potential in her conversations. I know she’s not a journalist but the way she has conversations with her guests can be agony when listening. Specifically when she just repeats what the guest says, and she inputs in example of what the guest just literally said and puts it into her own words sarcastically. She does that a lot. When she actually has questions and digs deep... more

Approach with compassion, consider a collective, non-confrontational letter or plan for supportive but boundaries-based activities that don't involve alcohol.
Stop Idolizing the "Cool Girl"
Q: What should I do about friends who are in relationships while I'm single?
Schedule time for single experiences, prioritize your own needs, and avoid letting relationship dynamics erode your self-worth.
Stop Idolizing the "Cool Girl"
Q: I'm in my 30s and still dating; should I date someone with kids if I like them?
Be upfront about boundaries and communicate openly about how you would navigate a potential stepfamily, considering your own goals and comfort level.
Red Flag or Overthinking?
Q: I've been dating my boyfriend for 2.5+ years, and he wants engagement and a future, but I feel uncomfortable with taking his last name; how should I approach this conversation?
Have a direct, values-driven talk about why name changes matter to you, assess his willingness to adapt, and consider practical implications for you as an individual and as a potential parent. If he cannot engage in a respectful dialogue, you may need to reconsider the foundation of the relationship.
Red Flag or Overthinking?
Q: Hi daddy, my best friend posted a photo of us and face-tuned it to make me look fatter; how should I address this with her when she's been a close friend since elementary school?
Text your friend and bring the behavior into the light, asking for the impact of edits on how you're perceived, and seek an honest explanation. If she reacts defensively or dismissively, reassess the boundary and consider distance, because healthy friendships require respect and accountability.
