Tripp and Andrew Laino have been watching movies together since 1992, and making fun of them together since 1999, when a rainy afternoon of babysitting turned into 8 hours of cheesy science fiction and jokes. Raised on a strict diet of 80s movies, the pair have an undying love for the decade and all of the weird, wonderful cinema therein, despite barely being there for it. • 80s movies

If you’re going to make a podcast about 80s movies then maybe you should stop pearl clutching over things! You’re reading too deep into them. You’re bringing up things that we didn’t even think of things in such away when we watched them. Weird Science episode for example!

I also adore their differing perspectives, the amount of analysis and research they put into each film, and the long, meandering comedic roads they travel down for extended journeys until they realize they probably should continue their ... more

Q: What is your opinion on the baseball movie "Major League"?
It's funny and has many great character moments, but it doesn't hold up in certain aspects, particularly the romantic subplot and some outdated humor.
