FIVE STARS. I must have stumbled upon the Teen Witch episode first because I will listen to anyone discuss its perfection. These are clearly the friends I wished I’d had growing up. Their thoughts on some of my childhood faves (mostly) do not disappoint. I’m going to forgo a Mixed Nuts rewatch so I can continue to remember it as a gem of a holiday movie. Waiting patiently for a Noises Off episode. Also just going to suggest an “ugly duckling” series - She’s Out of Control, Don’t Tell Her It’s Me... more
When I started listening to this podcast, I knew I would write a review, it would just be a matter of the episode to pull the trigger. Fern Gully was a mainstay in our home and me and my sisters loved it. We are also a fart family. So when I heard your toot tangent with Tony and Ralph, I knew the time had come. Also Fern Fully is a real place, it is where Steve Irwin is from 🤷♀️! Keep up the good work 👍
Since stumbling across this podcast a few months ago, it has become my new go-to listen on my commute to work. As an elder millennial, listening to Erika and Paul talk about the movies I grew up watching is like hanging out and reminiscing with old friends … lots of laugh-out-loud moments, plenty of intelligent commentary, and just the right amount of inappropriateness! 5/5 stars!
I'm a long time listener but a stubborn Android user... Until I was forced against my will to get an iPhone and the ONLY silver lining is now I'm FINALLY able to leave a 5 star review!! I was sent here from A Date with Dateline years ago and this podcast has been a beacon of joy in the current hellscape timeline we are in. I love cackling every time Paul and Erika "yes and" each other. Even through all the humor, it's great to analyze beloved films through a modern lens. Never stop making this ... more

Two hosts blend affectionate nostalgia with sharp, humorous cinema analysis, revisiting beloved films from their childhood and adolescence. The show often treats nostalgia as a lens to critique aging audiences' favorites, while celebrating memorable performances and timeless pop culture moments. A standout feel is the warm, bantering chemistry between the co-hosts, which makes deep dives feel like friendly debates with a shared love for cinema that aged well (or not).
