I’ve jumped over here after hearing your guest spot on GAM, and I’m loving the different angle on reviewing movie! Keep it going strong, and rep for lady and lgbtqia podcasters. I don’t get that many other places being in rural SD. Plus you’re my age, which is neat! Also, as a request maybe a theme month for the “traumatize our children” movies that were big in the 90s and 2k for some reason? Big ones are My Girl and Bridge to Terabithia.
I found this podcast whilst searching for something to make me laugh after losing my grandmother in September. Now I’m a hundred percent addicted. Their friendship shines through each review and their ability to make each other laugh is like none other. So many times since I started listening have I found myself in the supermarket snorting from laughter. Would hundred percent recommend Greece 2 son of Greece episode as one of my secret favourite films, I was in hysterics.
Thank you both for ma... more
If you plan on listening to this podcast, (which is CANONICALLY the most delightful trip down memory lane for us Xennials) in public, be prepared for the looks you’ll get from strangers when you’re laughing so hard you’re literally gasping for air. If that’s something that bothers you, I sincerely suggest you save the episode on Psycho for when you’re alone because Erika’s, let’s call it “creative suggestion” for how Janet Leigh could have avoided her murder in the Bates Motel along with Paul’s ... more
I just finished listening to the golden girls season one recap episode. I’ve listened to this episode twice. I can’t stop laughing at the way you all do the voices. Your recap is on point. I beg you for the life of God do all the episodes. Please continue doing your Blanche Devereaux voice is too. If you do this and you ever need a kidney, you can count on me.
Consistently makes me laugh and I agree with Erika about literally everything. I am in Australia so doing this even though I won’t receive a tote. So this is a review of the pod and also of me for being so kind hearted. 5/5 for everyone
