Found this podcast through A Date With Dateline and am listening my way through the back catalog. I love being reminded of the movies I watched as young person and seeing how much ick was seen as normal. Just finished Purple Rain and could not stop laughing at our hosts’ takes. Thank you for all the giggles!

Except for all these notes! Note the first - Erika & Paul are wonderful, and I love their laughs. Note the second - this note joke has already run its course. Note the last - never change. Thanks for all the joy!
Came here after listening to you on ADWD. So glad I did. So funny and easy to listen to
Erika and Paul are very enjoyable to listen to while droning on at work. I mostly like to listen to movies I have seen so I don’t catch spoilers, but I have also enjoyed episodes about movies I haven’t yet seen. I now want to watch Beaches!
I even enjoy when they tear down my favourite movies like Office Space and Empire Records.
Thanks for making my work day tolerable!

Two hosts blend affectionate nostalgia with sharp, humorous cinema analysis, revisiting beloved films from their childhood and adolescence. Episodes balance spot-on observations about writing, casting, and cultural footprints with playful banter, personal anecdotes, and tangents that keep conversations lively. The show often treats nostalgia as a lens to critique aging audiences' favorites, while celebrating memorable performances and timeless pop culture moments. A standout feel is the warm, bantering chemistry between the co-hosts, which makes deep dives feel like friendly debates with a shared love for cinema that aged well (or not).
