But the most consistent host Jim is a delightful cinephile with a positive attitude with a lot of enthusiasm to hear what the guests have to say. The recent Todd Haynes episode was a marked improvement from the earlier attempt and it was nice to hear two voices in the same room as opposed to Zoom. Going through t... more
Love this show! The hosts bring such an interesting perspective to each film they talk about. Even something like Upstream Color, a movie I know I would never like. In the past few years, Patrick has been bringing a toxically negative vibe to most of his appearances. I have depression and can't listen to many of these episodes unless I want to spend the rest of the day in bed. more
