  • Staying Power - Kudos on over 500 Episodes

I personally started listening to Brian and his guests almost 3 years ago. We were active in real estate but had yet to make the leap to group investing or larger apartments.

In every episode, you can pick up a tip or trick, or at the very least, some extra motivation.

Fast forward to today, we own 750 rental units. Brian and his platform played a part in our modest success!

    Keep up the great work.

Q: How did you approach the second deal differently after raising for the first one?
The first deal was the hardest due to acquiring, raising, and managing, but the second deal was much easier because they learned from the first, refined their process, and had a clearer system and traction with investors.

Q: What were some of the challenges you guys had starting to raise capital for someone else's deal?
Hesitation is common; you must shift from asking for money to presenting a compelling opportunity, be clear about the value to investors, and understand SEC regs. Also, build credibility by showing progress and closing deals to help others see the potential and move from aspirational to active.

Q: What's next for you?
I'm developing a web app to automate the underwriting process and focusing on a manufactured home community project.
