Really good stuff, hearing the inter generational perspectives is great, and this mother and daughter duo have a really warm and inviting rapport. It's like sitting down at the dinner table over some coffee and delving into older and newer wisdom.
This mother-daughter duo strikes just the right balance. They are insightful, reflective, hilarious and, best of all, sassy. They tackle the big topics of the day in a way that makes you feel like you were just hanging out with them over a glass of wine… really terrific podcast.
So glad that Rose and Gail are back and responding to what listeners want...more of THEM! Can't wait to hear Gail's great advice, and Rose's inquisitive questions!
Seriously don't sleep on this podcast, it's one of my favorites of the year. Can't wait to hear where its creators go from here (This American Life...Serial...the next Terry Gross?!?!)
DP is a fresh and lively conversation between Rose in NY and Gail in GA, who are daughter and mother, about music, humour and life. Illuminating interviews with guests such as Mel Brooks and the Indigo Girls are zippy, insightful and fun.
I preferred this podcast before the changed format. Less wrestling, more music, please!

These two have hit a great balance of humor, thoughtfulness, and amazing questions for their super impressive guests. It feels like an easy going conversation throughout, but I've found myself totally rapt by what's being shared, and learning totally new and interesting things about these well known folks. The individual personalities of the hosts also come through, and you get the chance to get to know them and their relationship at the same time as the guests.
