    These guys don’t really do much work on their subjects on the episodes I’ve listened to. I was young also once and I have sympathy for their predicament however I don’t recommend this podcast.

    He keeps laughing at the “stupidity” of 18th century people around women issues. Does he not realize how vaginas work? Every month, blood comes out of them. And when they have a baby, it needs to eat. Before tampons/pads, pumping/refrigeration, baby formula, most woman would be leaking fluids occasionally. Unless they paid someone to address these issues, they needed to take time off from work/education to keep their baby alive and to address the leaking. more

    Even for a podcast that is self-admittedly amateur, the word “amateur” is a huge understatement. They regularly misrepresent simple historical facts and misuse simple English words (“rationed” in place of “reasoned”, “heretical” in place of “hierarchical” for example.) more
