Bonkers story too. I think y’all would crush reviews for Phalanx, and both Alex White novels. Those are my holy trinity of Xeno literature. I recommend reviewing the art books for the Alien films too. So many cool unused designs. The Prometheus documentary “Furious Gods” is debatably better, or on par with the film i... more

  • This is absolutely relatable, especially as a latecomer to the franchise that was completely sold by the versital Xenomorphic terror. I can't even express how excited I am to go through the Alien universe with these guys!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Reading Aliens: What If...? [Issue 4]
Q: So what did we learn in this comic?
The complexities of family dynamics, particularly viewing Carter Burke through a lens of both his narcissism and his efforts to reconnect with his daughter, Bree.
Discussing Alien: Romulus [SPOILERS!]
Q: What are your final thoughts on how this will connect to future installments?
If this movie does well, I believe it will lay the groundwork for a continuation of the franchise that brings in newer characters and complex plots that don't feel like a repeat of earlier films.
Discussing Alien: Romulus [SPOILERS!]
Q: What did you think about the movie overall?
I walked out of the cinema happy, but I didn't love it as much as I hoped I would. When it tries to do its own thing, the film is amazing, but when it leans on fan service bits, it takes me out.
Discussing Alien: Romulus [SPOILERS!]
Q: How does everyone here feel about Fede Alvarez?
Before this movie, you know, I thought it was a good show. I thought it was a great show. I mean, the Evil Dead remake is brilliant.
