There are a few other podcasts on Portuguese history. One is a litany of 5-10 min. episodes, which, how much can one say about big topics in 5 min. The other podcast seems happy to dwell in the period marked by medieval Islamic rule of the Iberian peninsula. So, even aside from the fact that this podcast is quite happy to dwell in rhe Middle Ages after Portugal became a self-ruling kingdom (post-Muslim rule), the people doing the podcast are having fun and seem to be pretty well-incomed.
