One of my favorite film podcasts. With so much frivolity out there, it’s satisfying to hear a well structured film podcast. Nothing flashy, just lots of interesting behind the scenes details on the films and great analysis with compelling guests.
I’m a huge fan of the Cineversary podcast. I not only enjoy the format of the podcast (it’s so easy to binge) but also have learned a ton about the filmmaking from Erik and his guests. Smooth enthusiastic host, top notch guests and no silly jokes or self indulgent banter. Maybe a bit more debate and more non-US films covered would make it even better but highly recommended.
You can really feel Erik’s passion through each and every episode. Erik knows his subject and which guests to tap for additional insights. Casual and serious film buffs would equally enjoy listening to this show!
