The most open, honest, welcoming, tolerant, progressive, diverse and positive film podcast I have come across. All three hosts welcome differences of opinion with open arms and an inherent desire to understand the other persons point of view. If you like podcasts that create argument for the sake of it, look elsewhere. If you want empathetic, funny and interesting conversations about films and why they will always connect with us, just hit that subscribe button and enjoy.
This show is delightful and flows. That is all due to the genuine friendship of the three hosts. The way they respond to each other’s comments always makes me laugh. Cinenauts is also a great motivator for me to work my way through watching the Criterion collection. It is very rare to find a podcast that has true friendship at its core, and Cinenauts is one of those majestic mythical shows that delivers on that. If you love smiling, friendship, and an impressive collection of movies, this is the... more
Cinenauts really is a pleasure to listen to. Our three hosts are able to be constructive and entertaining. I love their chemistry and their mission. Their quality is perfection and editing is so darn tight. Bless these folks.
Ian, Boom, and Ctcher have incredible chemistry and new take on the staid film review podcast. Combining film critique, thoughtful dialogue, and a healthy dose of fun, this is at the top of my list every week.
One thing I have always found daunting was the Criterion Collection and not knowing where to even begin. Having the Cinenauts here to not only help guide me through the Criterion, but also do it in a fun and thought provoking way, I couldn't ask for a better show to take this journey with. Grateful for these three hosts and their insightful thoughts on a vast collection of cinema.
The Criterion Collection can be a big, dark, lonely, scary, bewildering place to travel and explore alone. No more! Boom, Ctcher, and Ian hold my hand as they traverse the weird and wild place that is the criterion collection with thoughtful and deliberate conversation. Love it!
Love these 3 and love hearing their diverse perspectives that I don’t usually hear from my majority white boi friends. I mean ctchr is white but he’s Canadian so that helps.
