  • Must listen!

I have loved listening to this podcast over the past year. It is very grounded in scripture and not just people talking in circles, I love that the topic is well thought out and researched in the word, the speakers Ravyn and Andrew are so good at explaining while also asking questions about important topics. You can tell they truly are seeking to find out what God wants for his children and share that with others! I love the range of topics and focus on the Bible.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

314 - Fears and Failures in Parenting
Q: Do you have any thoughts of just how people can work through any bitterness or resentment regarding their upbringing?
It's important to recognize the influence of your upbringing while also taking self-responsibility for your actions. Acknowledge the positives and negatives, work through your feelings and forgive where necessary.
312 - The Formative Power of Physical Space
Q: At what point should symbolism or using the baptismal tank and the pulpit and the communion elements raise a red flag for people?
If the scriptures don't call us to these things or if there's no desire for the Spirit of God to work through those elements, then it becomes dangerous.
309 - A Vision For Parents (with Trevor Nashleanas)
Q: What would you say to those parents who feel like they might have already screwed up too much?
There's no guilt or condemnation for those in Christ; God loves both parents and their children and He desires to redeem all parenting situations.
309 - A Vision For Parents (with Trevor Nashleanas)
Q: What common misconceptions do you feel like parents have for why they parent?
Parents often see their role as providing personal fulfillment or child prosperity, rather than realizing the spiritual responsibilities that come with parenting.
307 - A Biblical Theology of the Body (with Dr. Matthew LaPine)
Q: How do we think through redemption at a deeper level than just being okay spiritually?
Redemption involves recognizing that Christ has fully assumed human nature, making His embodiment integral to our salvation.
