  • A slightly biased opinion

A little biased opinion here but ChatterNet is a great show. I love all the hosts and the shows (including mine not trying to sound egotistical). Being part of ChatterNet has been one of my favorite things in such a long while.

  • Artist Suggestions

Hello JumperScape! Since I can’t join the discord quite yet, I wanted to leave some artist suggestions for the Soma’s Sky segment of ChatterNet. I have three: Ls3d Printing, a modeler who uses resin printing to make highly detailed custom parts and kits for Halo MegaConstrux; JMac Paints, a miniature painter who paints custom Halo MegaConstrux figures, often using part designed by Ls3d; and EtherealEOD, who has been featured many times on the Halo Waypoint website and makes incredibly detailed r... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

U&L: Big Grunty Thirst
Q: Why is the Thirsty Grunt a lasting meme in the Halo community?
Because it centers on a mysterious, humorous moment during Halo's campaigns where a grunt talks during a pivotal scene, turning a serious moment into a playful and enduring inside joke for fans.
U&L: Big Grunty Thirst
Q: What makes the Lookout for the Little Guys achievement unique compared to other Halo achievements?
It requires two betrayals without killing any grunt, which challenges players to subvert normal combat behavior and relies more on cooperation and timing than pure skill, making it a memorable test of patience.
HTR: Chat with JackDrawss
Q: JackDrawss, what do you do?
I'm a freelance artist from the UK who creates Halo and Destiny related art, with a focus on a retro comic style and recently contributing to a calendar project.
HTR: Chat With Hardwell Design
Q: Can you share more about the Halo 2026 calendar and your approach to depicting Halo Reach in your month?
June is Halo Reach-centered, aiming to show a calm, reflective moment for Noble Team before a mission, with meticulous attention to environment details like a makeshift camp and battle damage to convey a narrative moment.
HTR: Chat With Hardwell Design
Q: What has been your biggest challenge in your art, and how do you tackle lighting in 3D versus traditional media?
Lighting is the biggest hurdle; in 3D you must actively position and manage light, shadows, and reflections, often choosing not to rely on HDRIs and instead crafting tone and warmth manually to achieve the desired mood.
