An unauthorized podcast series peeking behind the curtain at the vast machinery and briar patch politics of fighting terrorism and insurgency and everything in between. I'm a "COINtra" and not a "COINdinista", the latter are the vast army of apparatchiks and apologists who fire the engines of Irregular Warfare (IW) planet-wide. However, once engaged with the cadence, I’m entranced by the facts and history brought to the table that short form news, my own haste, or deliberate obfuscation hides the real history of various aspects of war or war events (and all things tangential to war such as diplomacy or covert state affairs).
The podcast is fantastic and... more

The host encourages listeners to scrutinize government actions and statements regarding military operations, promoting a skeptical view of conventional wisdom surrounding counterinsurgency strategies. Topics range from historical movements and figures to contemporary geopolitical issues, emphasizing the implications of radical ideologies in modern America. The podcast is particularly notable for its willingness to address controversial subjects, thus appealing to those interested in a deeper, possibly more unsettling, understanding of warfare and statecraft... more
