The episode with Judge William Thorne is fantastic! The recruitment strategies shared should be applied at states and counties across the nation. This podcast was really inspiring to me as a child welfare social worker
This podcast sounds like someone is reading a press release. It's really a shame, because many of their topics are important and timely. Unfortunately, their guests are mostly inexperienced in communicating in a compelling way to a general audience -- they are academics or researchers or even advocates, but not press-friendly ones. You can tell that (in most cases) they really know what they're talking about, but the format just hamstrings them.
