This is constructive criticism so don’t be offended. I want to learn about the “business” of aesthetics. This is all one physician blowing smoke to another. Surgeons and dermatologists are only one aspect of a huge industry. Physicians are educated but they are not always the best business people. Why not interview practice managers? Small practice esthetician’s, injectors, nurse practitioners also have a significant portion of the industry.

How to Show Up on Google AI Overviews: What Aesthetic Practices Are Getting Wrong in 2026
Q: Let's start with the big picture. How has search changed in the age of AI?
Search has become more conversational and decision-oriented, with patients asking complex questions and expecting AI overlays to guide their choices. Practices must optimize for AI answers and ensure their content, reviews, and credentials are credible because Google AI is pulling from deeper, internal pages and assessing the authority behind the information.
Building a Skincare Brand Gen Z Actually Trusts-and Turning That Trust Into Long-Term Revenue
Q: What should a practice do first to earn credibility with Gen Z today?
Be open to conversations, deliver education, offer affordable, non-intimidating treatments, and ensure staff can relate to Gen Z patients. Credibility comes from authenticity, consistent messaging, and providing a range of value-driven options rather than pushing expensive packages.
