This is constructive criticism so don’t be offended. I want to learn about the “business” of aesthetics. This is all one physician blowing smoke to another. Surgeons and dermatologists are only one aspect of a huge industry. Physicians are educated but they are not always the best business people. Why not interview practice managers? Small practice esthetician’s, injectors, nurse practitioners also have a significant portion of the industry.

Why Hypergrowth is Outpacing Regulation and How to Scale Infrastructure Without Risking Your License
Q: For multi-state expansion, how do you build a standardized compliance infrastructure that handles variance without slowing growth?
Standardize the process first—document who can do what in each state, work with a legal team for state-specific treatments, and ensure a scalable, documented SOP framework that remains adaptable as regulations evolve.
Why Hypergrowth is Outpacing Regulation and How to Scale Infrastructure Without Risking Your License
Q: Right. And in your experience when a private equity firm looks at the MedSpas book, is sloppy compliance history a complete deal killer or do they just use it as leverage to lower the purchase price?
Gaps in compliance can be a deal killer if they involve key areas like good faith exams; smaller gaps may be leveraged to reduce valuation, as PE wants to see repeatable, well-documented processes and a credible path to ongoing compliance.
The Business of Neuro-Aesthetics: Systematizing Gut Health Protocols, Integrating 'Internal' Diagnostics, and Structuring Clinical Performance Guarantees
Q: How do you structure the consultation to convince high-end clients about internal ecosystem impact on external beauty?
We emphasize a data-driven pathway where the AI skin analysis and gut health tests reveal the internal bottlenecks, then present a six-month plan with clear milestones and a guarantee based on adherence to the protocol.
Why Most Annual Goals Drift by March and How to Build an Execution Roadmap That Sticks
Q: How do you stress-test growth goals to ensure there is real capacity to hit them?
Stress testing means calculating required leads, consults, and hours based on current conversion rates and schedule capacity, then scaling goals to fit available time and resources rather than chasing arbitrary numbers.
Why Most Annual Goals Drift by March and How to Build an Execution Roadmap That Sticks
Q: Can you elaborate on the management by Walkabout approach and what you actually do in practice?
Walkabout involves stepping into every area of the clinic, shadowing staff, understanding the patient experience, and enforcing strong performance management expectations for leadership and staff to self-manage.
