Definitely thanks for the interview profiling Frankie knuckles. That era of house music was definitely soulful, beautiful, hypnotic, deep and always fresh. Some of it still holds up well today. I’ve mostly moved on to soulful and some deep dark Drum and Bass like what’s played on the Hospital Records podcast or the DJ Flight Next Chapter podcast, all of which definitely have influences from souls house music. But the house creators and innovators are still in heavy rotation in my playlist.
