The quality of the content of this podcast is good to great, but the sound quality is horrible to barely acceptable. To begin with, the overall volume of this podcast is significantly lower than any other podcast I listen to. Worse yet, the volume of the host and the guest are rarely at the same level. I like the topics but the sound quality is really poor.
Love all of your podcasts, especially the in-depth reviews and conversations with equipment makers (Pivot, Silca, Wolftooth, etc). But please get a decent soundmeter. Listening to podcasts is an exercise in rewinding to relisten to something that was muffled or turning down the volume because what was too soft is now too loud. It’s not just the Bikerumor podcast but others like Paceline, Cyclingtips, etc. I think all of these podcasts could use a good soundmeter so that the volume of the podcast... more
