I listened to The Move from the very beginning, but I unsubscribed today due to Spencer Martin. I finally got tired of his constant attack of Jonas V, his searching for anyway to spin it negative toward Jonas, and his unabashed glazing of UAE. It's too much when he poo-poos any effect the non team issued skin suit forced on Jonas might have had on his ITT performance, and then turns around and insists Gall was negatively affected by using glasses rather than a visor. How he thinks this makes s... more
Quick update. I started this because of Lance, but continue because of Spencer and Johan; I never expected that. Now it’s tighter, more insightful and with just the right amount of banter. I’ll be ok when Lance and George come back but these two really added something.
********* Previous review *****
This is the analysis I’ve been missing from the TDF. No criticism of Bob Roll, Phil and the gang; I love the coverage. But sometimes the depth isn’t there. This show filled the gap.
im a new big fan
Hincape can’t seem to utter a sound about the exciting, what we could see was exciting, women’s race. Thanks to Johann for trying to get a conversation. Pathetic.
… this may seem like sacrilege, but I’m less likely to listen if Lance is on. I know the show wouldn’t exist without him, but he doesn’t add anything, and it’s clear that it wasn’t his tactical genius that got him to Paris in yellow seven times. He often claims he doesn’t remember anything, which means he’s either not that smart or very cagey, neither of which makes the podcast more interesting. Give me Johan and George analyzing with Spencer moderating, and I’ll listen every time.

Two cycling insiders provide high-velocity, data-driven race analysis with insider access and guest appearances from respected figures in the peloton. Episodes center on tactical breakdowns, stage-by-stage dynamics, team strategies, and market chatter around riders and sponsorships. The approach blends race context, power data, and behind-the-scenes anecdotes to paint a vivid picture of professional cycling at the highest level. A recurring draw is the mix of veteran perspectives and high-profile guests, which tends to attract serious cycling fans who crave tactical nuance and industry insight.
