这个城市的昵称是“The Big Easy”。也就是大容易或者大快活，说的是在新奥尔良太容易过日子了，这里都混不下去也就不用去别的地方了。新奥尔良是爵士乐的发源地，坐着爵士乐蒸汽船，看看密西西比河两岸的风景，或者在法国角找一间爵士乐酒吧，坐到半夜。这里还是美食爱好者的天堂，seafood boil，jambalaya，crawfish pie，filet gumbo，po’boy，yakamein，beignet，吃不过来，只恨自己没多长两个胃。 more
