《愤怒的葡萄》是我近五年来最喜欢的小说之一。这几年对很多小说我都有种相见恨晚的感觉，常常纳闷，20多岁时候都干嘛去了？只好安慰自己，随着年龄的增长，再看这些经典作品可能会有和年少时不一样的感受，更能理解和共情。
全书中我最喜欢的是乔德一家到达加州后的经历和转变。看似无力的流民个体，逐渐汇聚成“我们”，播撒下愤怒的种子。就像结尾处的描述，“五十万人在全国迁徙；还有一百万人焦躁不安地准备迁徙；一千万人开始感觉到紧张”。当人民觉醒并且团结在一起后，就没有什么力量能阻挡变革的到来。

一直想去新奥尔良，最近终于实现了愿望。
这个城市的昵称是“The Big Easy”。也就是大容易或者大快活，说的是在新奥尔良太容易过日子了，这里都混不下去也就不用去别的地方了。新奥尔良是爵士乐的发源地，坐着爵士乐蒸汽船，看看密西西比河两岸的风景，或者在法国角找一间爵士乐酒吧，坐到半夜。这里还是美食爱好者的天堂，seafood boil，jambalaya，crawfish pie，filet gumbo，po’boy，yakamein，beignet，吃不过来，只恨自己没多长两个胃。 more
很久没读科幻小说了，今天来换换口味。勒古恩是公认的20世纪后半叶最重要的科幻与奇幻作家之一，在《黑暗的左手》里，她创造了一个没有固定性别的世界，就像是展开了一场关于性别、政治与人性的思想实验。不止如此，她受到《道德经》的启发，不走寻常路，不写怎样打赢太空战，赢得同盟，而是更喜欢思考怎样避免战争。

又是一个九月，我想起了周云蓬的歌《九月》。每次听都觉得有一种悲痛，它让我联想到《远山淡影》。这种痛难以命名，说不出来，要是我的表达能力再强点就好了。这是一部关于回忆与创伤的文学作品，故事在现实和回忆之间穿行，一切都模模糊糊的，就像一幅淡淡的远山景象。石黑一雄刻意留白，让读者在迷雾中找寻内心的答案。
