Q: What did it feel like to be inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame while still actively competing?
Omori describes it as a surprising and somewhat unreal moment, recognizing the honor and the pressure to speak publicly, yet he remains focused on continuing to compete and perform rather than resting on past achievements.
Episode 1441: CRAFTING CONFIDENCE: CLIFF PACE
Q: How did the lead to Boss Outdoors transition occur?
The lead-based business and relationships with suppliers evolved into a formal collaboration with Charles Himes, Gary Klein, and Pace to form Boss Outdoors after Pace broke his leg in 2014.
Episode 1441: CRAFTING CONFIDENCE: CLIFF PACE
Q: What sparked the move from balsa to soft plastics?
A long-standing interest in making plastics, plus the opportunity to partner with Kirby Design and Manufacturing to produce production models, which allowed diversification and control over product development.
Episode 1441: CRAFTING CONFIDENCE: CLIFF PACE
Q: So, how much time on the water were you spending in the 2008-2011 period?
A lot—nearly four to five days a week, with a heavy emphasis on consistent practice and tournament involvement, which helped build skills and sponsorships.
Episode 1436: THE LAKE HAVASU FORMULA (CODY STECKEL)
Q: Did you expect to win the event on the final day?
I thought I needed at least 17 pounds to have a real shot, and when I saw the opportunity in that final fish, I went back for it and trusted my plan.
