Okay pod, but would be much better if the presenters focused on finding exclusives rather than what they’ve eaten.

  • What is the point

Express and star in general has gone downhill, behind paywalls etc… but this is just pointless now. Luke and Joe used to provide insight and create a connection with fans.

This new format is a hard listen, the lead guy isn’t listening half the time, on his phone or scrolling his laptop, Lewis is alright and tries his best, but it’s a tough gig

  • Gone downhill

Not the same any more. Joe Masi used to provide exclusive insights, give opinions, delve quite deep into the serious subjects.

It’s become a talksport-esque podcast now with cliche after cliche, “banter”, fan views that nobody really cares for. Be more Masi, less AJ please.

  • Decent

Okay pod, and sound is generally better since the other presenters moved on. But this week is unlistenable with the stadium soundtrack drowning out all dialogue.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S9 E9: A solid West Brom start and a refereeing shocker!
Q: Do you think not having Ryan Mason on the touchline will affect our play?
I don't think it will make much of a difference as other coaches will manage the team effectively.
S9 E9: A solid West Brom start and a refereeing shocker!
Q: How will Maggia and or DK fit into Mason's pressing style?
Maggia and DK will fit in, but the system may need to adapt based on the players' different attributes.
S8 E41: New head coach - reveal yourself soon!
Q: Is the Halfords Lane end likely to be fully redeveloped in the near future?
Jonny speculates that while the Halfords Lane site may not be ideal for extensive redevelopment, it could undergo improvements.
S8 E41: New head coach - reveal yourself soon!
Q: Coxy, obviously, there's always been names banded around, isn't there? What do you think about the managerial hunt?
Coxy mentions the names being discussed and states that the current focus is on finding a younger, experienced manager who is on the rise, not someone from the older generation of coaches.
S8 E34: Doing it the hard way, Armstrong debate & play-off game changer!
Q: Looking ahead to the future under the Bilkal ownership, do you think moving away from the Hawthorns will ever become a consideration?
I don't think so; any move would be a bad idea as the Hawthorns is significant to the club and fans.
