Was looking forward to listening to Botham, and then Walsh and Ambrose episodes but have just turned off latter as it’s just noise. Can’t hear what’s going on as they are all just talking over top of each other and just having side conversations with each other. When Botham tried to pick his best side they just talked all over top of him, he even commented he couldn’t think straight for all the wittering going on. These guys are obviously experts and have great insight. But the 15 minutes of inanity at the beginning is a bit indulgent and boring. Stick to Cricket guys - the episodes could be shorter and tighter.

There are too many people trying to be funny and talking over each other. And when there’s a guest, they barely give them a chance to speak. The Atherton/Hussain podcast is a great example of actually interviewing the guest and only speaking/making points where important to the context. Or, even when it is just those two, they are professional and have a lively discussion rather than trying to be funny. This is a cheap rip-off of stick to football.
