I’d listen on bbc sounds if they had a ‘mark all as unplayed’ feature - relistening is loads easier on other apps. AMAZING PODCAST. I didn’t even know the rules of cricket a year ago and now I am religiously listening to the world cup
In a nutshell, Tailenders has got me through some pretty tough times over the last few years. I’ve been there from the start and have even been on stage with the gang (in Sheffield 2025). For someone who is an absolute cricket badger like me, it’s like a warm cup of tea by the fire after a frosty wintry walk. The highlight of my week - long live Mattchin 💛
Been listening now for last 6 years and feel bad as never realised I was able to review as use BBC sounds. I have to say this podcast is really uplifting and provides real escapism from everyday life and I always come away with a smile and can’t wait until the next episode . The team all add something to the pod and Greg is an amazing MC and i will always love Sir James being his usual dour self. Don’t stop
SImply the best! Always makes me smile. The one podcast i most look forward to. Greg, Jimmy, Felix, Sharkey and especially Matchinnn ... thank you!
I have am now pivotting like a David Gower pull shot into BBC Sounds! Go Well. James /. Norfolk |||
Best quiz in the 8 years of this show. Another belter was the international speed dating one. Time to upgrade Mattchin to co-host. Keeps it from getting too inward-looking. Always good banter and the guests have all got some useful insights, keep up the good work and go well!
