With so many teams it would be difficult to cover every match each week so the analysis can be focused only on the big matches. In my opinion they are fans that follow the ball only without seeing other aspects of the game so they will throw out stats without giving the bigger picture. There is an immaturity to their opinions also where they have teams they do not like (PNE, Coventry, Ipswich, Swansea, Stoke among others) so they will either skip over talking about them or will have awful ill in... more
If you like Derby County then this is your show. If you like football knowledge based purely on playing championship Manager, this is your show. If you want incisive comment or even a basic understanding of the game then avoid
How can they give in depth analysis of games they’ve not even seen. They attend Derby every week so must only watch brief highlights. I’ve tried quite a few episodes and they don’t even mention Preston unless they are playing a top 6 club. Even when we were 4th at Christmas didn’t even get a mention
As a Southampton fan I just love this podcast. People whith genuine knowledge unlike all other football podcast. Brilliant lads. Keep it up.
If you want insight into football for the championship I’d guide you to ‘not the top twenty’. These lads either don’t watch matches or have little to nothing to add to tactical analysis.
If you are here for ‘banta’ that’s almost worse. If it’s not the toe curling ‘ladies and gentleman’ then it’s weak bants from the two lads whose pocket money got stolen at school for being utterly boring.
Poor insight and weak banta. Keep it up lads.
Not the top twenty podcast far superior - check it out

A championship-focused show led by two hosts who deliver rapid-fire episodes three times weekly, mixing match analysis, tactical chatter, and banter with a strong emphasis on playoffs, disciplinary dramas, and the wider financial side of the league. Episodes frequently center on promotion races, high-stakes fixtures, and saga-heavy storylines like Spygate, while also exploring managerial changes, transfer outlooks, and fan sentiment. A standout trait is the duo's consistent, witty chemistry and data-informed angles that still keep the conversation accessible and entertaining for a broad football audience.
Listeners are likely drawn to candid, humorous takes on underdog stories, tactical setups, and the emotional roller coaster of the Champ... more
