I listened to the first 1.5 seasons. The hosts are charming, and it's well produced. The topics would be enjoyable if they didn't shit on white people in almost every episode. Basically, how oppressed they are by whites just existing. If non whites were disparaged regularly in that way, people would find it distasteful.
I have so much fun listening to this podcast!
I am always interested in seeing different perspectives for media I grew up with. I never realize the impact or controversy of certain media might have for people that are different from me, whether race, gender, sexuality, upbringing, etc. Please continue because both of you are so entertaining to listen to.
This podcast gives me life! It feels like I’m hanging out with friends and I have shared it with all my girls. I love how the references are centered on Black culture and needs no explanation. I feel like this podcast was made for me!! Thank you!!!
This show is well planned, well discussed, well researched, and well produced! And you can notice all of that while listening. It’s been really fun so far and it’s going in my rotation! The season 3, episode 8 needs to win all the awards!! Hit ‘home’!
