I listened to this podcast for two episodes and I can‘t anymore. It drives me mad how every third word is the filler „like“ in conversations. I can‘t enjoy the content as I get flustered by this overusage. I expect writers to be more conscious about word usage.
Amazing
These are exactly the kinds of books I’m most interested in, and there hasn’t been enough conversation centered on understanding and celebrating these works which are so hard to describe and categorize. Thankful for Autofocus and Michael’s close reading and casual discussions.
Stumbled on this through Brad Listi’s Instagram. Stayed for Zac Smith, and now I’m hooked. Michael is so gifted at interviewing.
Loved the Bud Smith interview. Plenty of gold in that conversation.
