The Ballon d'Or Féminin has only been awarded to four women and only for the first time in 2018 to Ada Hegerberg; Megan Rapinoe (2019); Alexia Putellas (2021, 2022), and Aitana Bonmatí (2023, 2024, 2025). The European journalists like Barca or they don’t know other players. Yawn! So boring. Clearly the women footballers are an afterthought, even Barca. Do you read French, Spanish, German journalists? I don’t; I read the Athletic and the Guardian. Finally, we got a goalkeeper award. That’s som... more
The show tremendous. Best soccer podcast hands down. My only critique is that Sandra talks too much. When she hosts the podcast turns into a monologue. Tend not to listen in when she hosts.
A few times I rewatched games thinking they saw something I missed and nope. They just had a narrative they wanted to tell and went with it. I would not be surprised to find out they do not watch the games. They should stop the team of the week segment. It only highlights their bias and makes them look like they only saw highlights.
This is by far my fav nwsl show. They know literally everything about women’s soccer and aren’t afraid to disagree with each other and all make such smart points. They’re also fun. Listen!
Lisa was rough as it is. She’s combative to her peers but at least had interesting analysis. Zerboni is a hot mess and her analysis and points are just so bad. Zerbonis addition to the show has truly made it terrible for me. I can no longer listen. I miss Sandra being in every episode.
