To much banter and not enough valuable content. Not worth sitting through a long podcast to hear 15 seconds of good ideas.
The content itself is informative and the hosts have a good, entertaining delivery. I tried listening to a random sampling of episodes, but I was not able to make it through an entire one because the volume leveling between the hosts is terrible. Even worse is that it is inconsistent between episodes. It's like watching TV when the commercials are 50% louder than the program. I wanted to like it, but I gave up struggling to hear one person and getting yelled at by the other.
But everyone is so busy listening to Robert and Ben’s great ideas that we don’t have time to write reviews!!! 😀 We are too busy testing out our tarps and making penny stoves. These guys have great information, are clearly passionate about bushcrafting and have awesome banter!!
They make hot tents sound so much fun, I want to travel to Canada to go sleep in the snow ❄️🤷♀️

Why this have no reviews!?
Have listened for over a year and Robert and Ben are great. I am a rank novice and not a bush crafter at all, but I am feeling confident that I will have a firm foundation when I start. Great mix between survivor, prepper, camper, and crafter. I have no problem with their rambles, it makes it seem like a conversation not a podcast.
Fun, “real”information from 2 regular guys. You can tell they just love doing this. Keep it up boys. See you in the woods.
They are talking common sense that’s all do not waste your time with the obvious and even at times it’s hard lol very hard to even hold on to through the car wreck
It’s a easy listen, seems to offer some sound advice on gear and such.I think if they persevere with their effort the podcast will be a great success.
Sharing real life experiences and tips. Has the laid back feel of two guys chilling at the cabin.

This show centers on practical bushcraft, survival skills, and outdoor preparedness, with frequent conversations about gear, testing setups, and safety considerations. Episodes blend hands-on advice (gear testing, PPE, shelter and sleeping systems) with discussions on safety, risk assessment, and modern tech for outdoor living (emergency comms, solar power, diesel heaters). Interactions with guests and a casual, banter-driven host dynamic help translate complex concepts into approachable guidance for hobbyists and aspiring outdoor enthusiasts. A notable pattern is a mix of practical how-tos, product comparisons, and interviews that broaden the community's understanding of low-cost, reliable gear and sustainable bushcraft practices.
