The best camping discussion both in and out of the field. Light-hearted chat with two brothers (Ade and Tim) who love all things camping-related. Camping is their happy place. We started this podcast because we both found that we had very busy lives and we weren't speaking to each other enough. When we did talk, it was always about camping. By putting a podcast episode out every week we make sure w... more

I bloody love this podcast. Two brothers ripping in each other and talking all things camping and the outdoors. They are gear junkies so there’s always a new toy to learn about for all different types of camping.
Top tip. If you hit the fast forward button over and over it’s just pure laughter with the occasional camping related quip (only after listening to the whole episode of course)
My favourite of the brothers… the one they keep in the basement and don’t talk about.
I wandered across this podcast randomly because we boondock a lot every year and I’m always looking for a new take on camping and gear. I’ve picked up some helpful info but mostly have morphed into that crazy loon who laughs hysterically while driving alone in the car. The neighbors are concerned. I do think the best part is my dear neighbor is from Yorkshire and Tim’s diction and tone sound exactly like Bruce though Tim is rather more fun than Bruce is, sorry, Bruce, it’s true. Great, great sho... more
I’m a 44 year old woman who loves to camp, but my husband doesn’t, so I want to get into solo camping but I’m nervous about it. I discovered this podcast while searching for solo camping stories and tips, and initially only listened for a few minutes to the “solo camping” episode before moving on, because I figured two guys wouldn’t understand the issues I was worried about. But then after listening to a few other podcasts about solo camping, I came back to it and listened to rest of the episode... more
Since I started listening to this podcast I have upgraded nearly all my kit & it’s all your fault !!!
I now own a 4m canvas bell tent, with wood burning stove and thick hessian carpets .
Then we’ve had to upgrade our car to a van, which has been partially converted, as our car wasn’t big enough for all our new kit.
Can you start reviewing very cheap gear please as you’ve already cost me around £15k…
Anyway, here’s your 5 stars… keep up the banter, humour, terrible 70s & 80s tv and music referenc... more
I am a 67 year old American woman living in southern Arizona and listen to your podcast religiously. After the chair podcast, i bought myself a yeti camp chair before a camping trip to Moab, Utah. It really made the experience so much more comfortable. I was inspired by a later podcast to put the jetboil genesis on my amazon wish list. As a solo camper, your podcast gives me a sense of community and companionship. Keep up the good work! 5 Stars

Casual conversations between two brothers focused on camping, gear, and practical weekend trips, all delivered with lighthearted banter and a distinctly outdoorsy, community vibe. Episodes frequently cover kit comparisons, setup tips, local sites, and planning for longer trips or group outings, while weaving in event mentions, gear hacks, and budget-minded decisions. A standout is the easygoing, relatable humor and the emphasis on making camping accessible for all budgets and experience levels, with frequent calls to local shows and barter-friendly community activities.
Listeners who enjoy down-to-earth gear talk, real-world testing, and friendly banter—often with a UK angle—are likely to stay engaged. The format tends to blend actionable ... more
