  • Do not!

Do not listen to that pod in a gym, under a heavy load. Often laughter explosions will mess up your reps. You will look silly crying and laughing at the same time.

  • While the content is ok, maybe you drift too much towards music sometimes, the delivery is terrible. I dont mind ads with your voice, but I had to listen to four AI generated sh**y ads from Amazon. Unsub.

  • More ads than content

Every time I come back to this they’ve pushed in yet another ad break packed full of the kind of rubbish you only usually get on illegal football streams or dodgy porn sites.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

OTOSOT 103
Q: If you could have any left-hand drive vehicle as a right-hand drive version, what would you pick?
The hosts propose several favorites, with examples like the Renault 5 Turbo 2 and Jaguar XE Project 8, illustrating their criteria for a factory-right-hand-drive conversion and weighing design compromises.
OTOSOT 100
Q: What are your thoughts on the shift in German brands—has tech overrun traditional craftsmanship, and will brands like Mercedes or Audi recover their core values?
They argue that luxury has leaned too heavily into tech, eroding a coherent identity; recovery may involve re-emphasizing core values, tactile interfaces, and moderation in gadgetry to recapture authenticity.
OTOSOT 100
Q: Is there a car you'd actually consider keeping solely for preservation value, even if you'd never drive it regularly?
Yes, but only if it's a time-capsule example with minimal miles and a strong sense of origin; otherwise, the joy is in seeing others' enthusiasm rather than owning the last example.
OTOSOT 100
Q: Hi chaps, how bad does a car have to be before even the last one in existence isn't tempting, and what's a car that even if it genuinely was the last one left, you still wouldn't buy?
They acknowledge the historical fascination of 'the last one' but admit that the burden of preservation can dampen personal enjoyment; they would prefer the car go to a true enthusiast and recognize that some models simply aren't worth the emotional or financial cost to own, especially if it compromises driving pleasure.
OTOSOT 99
Q: Are you aware of the phenomenon of people putting race or performance car plates on non-matching cars, and what do you think about it?
They discuss the nostalgia and identity aspects of personalized plates, noting the humor and sometimes sad irony of owners clinging to plates from previous cooler cars, while acknowledging that the practice reflects attachment to automotive history and personal branding even when the car no longer matches.
