  • It’s like a photojournalist support group

I enjoy Dave and company’s banter. I’ll piggyback and caveat off how he described it: this is certainly a photojournalist support group with education and entertainment thrown in. I look forward to future episodes.

  • Great podcast for all levels

As a nascent photojournalist I find this podcast to be invaluable. It focuses (pardon the pun) on real world topics relevant to photo story tellers and the variety of guests is broad. These are all working professionals so you get a realistic view rather than a detached, academic view of photojournalism. I look forward to each episode which seem to be getting better and better. Thanks to David J Murphy and his co-hosts for doing this and please keep going!

  • One of my favourite photography podcasts.

One of my favourites podcasts! Always wanted to be a photojournalist and while this is primarily US based (I live in the UK) the insight into the world of photojournalism has been fascinating. Always great guests on the panel and love the discussions taking place.

  • Career Envy

Even though there is light-heart banter about the career of PJ I can feel the pain behind the words spoken by the hosts and the guests in this very real podcast. That is what makes this podcast a must-listen to for anyone interested in Photojournalism or just wanting to hear the stories of the experiences from the point of view of those that stand in the ferocious middle.

  • Enough is enough

As a long time subscriber I have finally thrown up my hands and said, "enough." The constant police bashing and over generalizations regarding law enforcement are not what I want to listen to. As a police officer and photographer I've had enough of the ignorant commentary regarding police officers and their training.

AtL Interview - Welcome to the Cyber Rodeo and A Hand to Hold
Q: Tell us about the concept of Welcome to the Cyber Rodeo and what drew you to the story.
The film examines how personas and digital-media mediated identities influence real-life behavior, using a Y2K-inspired cyber cowboy character to probe how people want to be perceived versus who they really are.
AtL RtD 020 - Ford Fisher
Q: What are your thoughts on AI in journalism and filmmaking, and where do you see its role?

Q: How does the News2Share revenue model work, especially between licensing, commissions, and Patreon?
The guest describes licensing as the main, spike-prone revenue stream, with Patreon providing steady but smaller income, and commission-based work being less common but possible; he emphasizes assigning a fixed price for work upfront to avoid speculative earnings.
